The Martello Tower at Ferry Reach

This Martello Tower is located just west of LF Wafe International Airport. It stands watch over the entrance to Ferry Reach, and was constructed as a battlement which could withstand cannon fire. The walls of this egg shaped Martello Tower were constructed as much as 11 feet thick, with a menacing cannon is located on the top. The design of this Martello Tower closely mirrored that of it's cousins which were common throughout the British Empire during the 19th century.
